Preparing for Travel

Required vaccinations are different for the various regions of the world.  You can visit http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/ or  http://www.mdtravelhealth.com/ to learn more about the vaccines you may need for your travel.

Generally it is wise to get your vaccines 1-3 weeks before you travel.  However, it is never too late to get your vaccines before you travel.  We prefer at least one day notice for you appointment, but sometimes we can see you on a same-day basis.  The doctor will be happy to discuss the vaccinations and give you reccomendations at your consultation.

Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover travel vaccines.  We will not bill your insurance company, but we can give the appropriate codes so that you can bill your own insurance.
