Chronic Infections

Infections can lie dormant or undetected for years.

Often when a traumatic incidence occurs, the infection will grow stronger because of a weakened immune system.

Chronic infections can be bacterial, viral and fungal. Examples of chronic infections that may cause long term symptoms are Candida and Lyme disease. There are myriad other lesser known infections that cause chronic disease. Once such virus that has gained notoriety is the XMRV which has been recently linked to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. To regain optimal health it is essential to identify chronic infections that may underly a disease state or a collection of symptoms.
